A Free Tag Cloud module based upon a ‘hacked’ version of mod_mostread.

The module installs just like every other Joomla module and setup is straight forward.

A Tag Cloud takes a list of your most popular articles and displays them as a cloud, the more popular an item is the bigger the link is to it. You can choose what content to display in the cloud from the administrator section under site modules.

Depending on where you place the tag cloud you may need to create a css suffix to enable a good visual appearence.

Also, at present to adjust the value break points, the number at which the font gets bigger and the size of the font used, you need to edit /modules/mod_tagcloud.php

When you open the file scroll to the bottom until you find this section:

The number between the two quote marks after each ‘echo’ ("1") is the font size value, this can be anything from 1 (very small) to 7 (very large)

The numbers after ‘hits’ determines the number of hits to fall into that cetegory, so we can see in this example content with between 5 and 25 hits will use size 2 font.

Adjust these to suit your site.

The New Pink Zen Joomla Template
No instructions for this table-less , W3C valid Joomla template.  Grey and pink graphics give the template a cool look. A two column template that uses the site name dynamically over the logo and requires anew module to be created and positioned in the 'user1' slot. This module places the text next to the tree graphic. 

The Pink Zen template uses seperate css files for IE6 and Mozilla, making it easy to make small adjustments that still work in IE6.

The New London's Calling Template for Joomla
No instructions with this template but it's a great looking W3C valid template for Joomla.  With a cool blue theme the template has a great 'designed' look.  It's free to all ClubTVK members. To use the template check out the module positions here .

The New Table-Less Template
 Okay, grab some coffee because in this short guide we are going to learn some totally new stuff – table-less css design.

A table-less design is just that – it doesn’t use tables to create the layout of the page. Instead it uses ‘div’ tags and css.

The New-Red ClubTVK Template
  We have put together a template based on some graphics. More importantly how to float text held in custom modules over those graphics.

The template uses all the basic elements we learnt in the book and expands some of them using both the layout in the HTML file and expanding our knowledge of what CSS can do.
